With a combined 40 years-plus working in viticulture, Stuart Dudley and Callum Linklater bring valuable knowledge and hands-on experience to all facets of viticulture management, from traditional practices to state-of-the-art machinery and research.
They have a deep understanding of Marlborough’s subregions, microclimates, soils, seasons and disease pressures, as well as the impact of climatic shifts on winegrowing pressure points. They are both trusted caretakers and changemakers in Marlborough’s wine industry, helping growers and wine companies make the most of their vineyard investment.
Stuart has decades of experience leading viticulture teams at Delegat and Villa Maria, including through major vineyard developments, organic transitions, and implementation of cutting-edge research programmes. He’s also worked with smaller independent winegrowers and has his own wine label celebrating Marlborough subregions.
Callum has been a contract grower, led an organic conversion of his family’s Marlborough vineyard, and has his own premium wine label, with a hands-on understanding of the challenges of grape growing and the opportunities of strategic and adaptable vineyard management.
